The potentially severe weather predicted to strike this area this Friday has caused Granbury High School’s football schedule to be changed, according to a GISD spokesperson.
Granbury High School’s season finale, a District 4-5A Division I home matchup against Killeen Shoemaker High School, has been moved from this Friday to Thursday, Nov. 3. The game, which will still be played at Pirate Stadium in Granbury, will keep its 7 p.m. kickoff time.
The GHS junior varsity football contest versus Shoemaker’s JV, has been moved to Wednesday, Nov. 2, with a 6 p.m. kickoff in Killeen.
The two freshman team games between GHS and Shoemaker have also been changed to Wednesday, Nov. 2. The GHS Freshman Gold team is set for a 5:30 p.m. kickoff. The GHS Freshman Purple team is now scheduled to play its game starting at 7 p.m., also on Wednesday.
