A Tuesday evening incident involving an altercation between the drivers of three vehicles — which included a motorcycle crash — brought ripples of comments on local social media sites, but resulted in no arrests and no serious injuries. That’s according to Granbury Police Deputy Chief Cliff Andrews.

Police were dispatched at about 8:30 p.m. on June 14, responding to a reported disturbance in progress in the 1500 block of South Morgan Street in Granbury, Andrews stated in an email.

Andrews explained that the officers identified three Granbury residents were involved — a 40-year-old woman, a 30-year-old man and a 57-year-old man.

The woman was driving north on South Morgan Street when the 30-year-old man, who was driving a motorcycle, began striking her vehicle with his hands, “causing some damage to a quarter panel and driver’s side mirror,” Andrews stated. The woman “was scared and called for assistance from the other man.”

The man she called “immediately called dispatch for police assistance and began traveling to her location,” Andrews continued, adding that when the man arrived at her location, “he placed his white truck between” the motorcycle and her vehicle.

Andrews concluded by stating, “Officers interviewed each party to include witnesses.  No gun was found to be involved.  No party wished to pursue charges against anyone.  The report is listed as an information report due to no victim cooperating or wishing to pursue a charge.”
