Granbury Pirates beat Lake Worth Bullfrogs with a score of 17 to 16. Trailing at the half, Pirates looked strong at the start of the 3rd quarter. A 50 yard run by #27 Jadon Rogers set up a field goal attempt, only to be blocked. The bullfrogs sent the Pirates to the 4th quarter trailing by a score of 16 to 14. With 7 minutes to go, #27 Jadon Rogers extra effort on a 4th and 1 gets a 1st down. With 5:12 left in the game, and after a Pirate time out before one last play, set up Drew Henderson for a 34 yard field goal that pulled the pirates ahead by one point. The Pirates defense held the Bulldogs to a single set of downs. Getting the ball back at 1:17 then taking a knee on downs to finish the game.
