Hood County ranch team earns award

Hood County resident Murray Randle, right, and his team, Neal Davis and Steven Pinksa (not pictured), were honored by the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board with the first-place award for Conservation Rancher of the Year for outstanding conservation management on the 7R Ranch in Acton. The award was presented by Grady Gibson, left, of the TSSWBC on May 2 in Dublin at the Texas Soil and Water Conservation Board Area 5 Awards Banquet. Area 5 consists of 54 counties in North Central Texas.
