Jane Saville Stevens Wilson, aged 97, passed away peacefully Nov. 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. A remarkable woman of grace, intelligence and boundless curiosity, she lived a life full of purpose and adventure.

Born Sept. 21, 1927, in Glens Falls, New York, her family moved, and she grew up in Miami, Florida. Jane excelled academically from a young age. She pursued music, playing the clarinet, English, the arts and foreign languages when she attended the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, becoming a trailblazer in her field and an inspiration to all who knew her.

Her professional career spanned decades, and she worked passionately until the age of 70, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. She was known for her eloquence, wisdom and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

An avid traveler through her work, Jane explored the world with a passion for learning and a heart open to new cultures. Her journeys took her to Japan, Korea, the U.K., Germany, Italy, France, Hong Kong and Bangkok, and every continent on the globe where she created cherished memories and lifelong friendships.

Above all, Jane was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who cherished her family deeply. Her brilliant smile, kindness, resilience and unwavering love will be remembered by her children Duke, Deborah and her husband Jim, Kimberlee and her husband Jeff, Joe and his wife Pai; grandchildren, Jimmy, Larry, Alex, Lauren, Jayme, Marie, Nicholas, Chloe (and Chris), Dillon Robert (and Madison) and Tessa; five great-grandchildren; and all whose lives she touched.

Jane leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and inspiration. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
