Janie Reddell, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away Dec. 15, 2024.
A service will be held Saturday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. at Martin’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Millsap.
Known for her love of Dr Pepper, fried chicken and fried catfish, Janie was a cherished member of her community and family. She worked tirelessly for 25 years as a waitress, providing for her loved ones and earning the admiration of all who knew her.
Janie's heart was always with her family, and she was affectionately known as "Mom" or "Grandma" by many.
She is survived by her children, Bobbi Donaghey and husband Dwayne, Robert Reddell and wife Shelley, and Stacey Riley and husband Curtis; and brother Larry Eidson. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who will forever remember her warmth, dedication and love.
Her hard work and devotion to her family will be missed dearly, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
