Larry D. Carver 1943-2025

Larry D Carver, age 82, of Granbury, and formerly of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Feb. 28, 2025. Larry was born in Norman, Oklahoma, on Feb. 28, 1943. He had a lifelong passion for racing cars, boats, and just about anything else with an engine. This led him to start his own business, Diesel Machine Manufacturing, in Oklahoma City in 1987. Larry and Nina fell in love as young teenagers and their deep love and friendship continued throughout their long and happy marriage of 62 years. Larry's family meant everything to him. Spending time with his grandchildren gave him the greatest joy.

He leaves behind his wife, Nina Carver; his son, Ron Carver and his wife, Pam, of Granbury; his daughter, Cheryl Sandoval and her husband, Tommy, of Montgomery; four grandchildren: Chris Carver and his wife, Lauryn; Kayla Roland and her husband, Jesse; Stephen Carver and his partner, Bradley Gowers; and Kinsey Walker and her husband, Landon; as well as four great-grandchildren: Eleanor, Cyrus, Kennedy, and Jackson. He is also survived by his sister, Charlene Huffaker and her husband, Joe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Carver and Lorene Fowler, and his siblings, Don Carver and Vicki Gleason.
