Leah Raye (McLemore) Robertson, 89, of Granbury, Texas, passed away July 28, 2026. Leah was born September 2, 1936, in Salem, Indiana. Whether it was silly inside jokes, sweet nicknames or unique traditions, Leah Raye made every person in her life feel treasured.
She met her husband Glen when they were teenagers. They married in 1957 and built a family and life together for over 67 years. She was the shining sun her family happily orbited around.
Nothing was more important to Leah than being a loving, supportive wife, mother and meemaw. She loved solving crossword puzzles and reading mysteries. She was also very interested in genealogy and researching her family history.
Leah loved the holidays, especially decorating for each one. Her Christmas village was EPIC and something she looked forward to assembling each year. Neighbors, relatives and friends all marveled at the detail and thought she put into each piece and generations of her family were represented in it.
She was a wonderful cook, making big family dinners for decades. Whether it was jambalaya, a big Sunday roast, meatloaf or her legendary chicken enchiladas, at Leah’s house there was always room for one more. Everyone was always welcome and everyone left happy and full! Her desserts were legendary, too. Coconut cream pie, apple dumplings and pumpkin cake were favorites she made time and again for her grateful family of eager eaters.
Leah was loved beyond measure by her family. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Keller (Tom) and Lisa Robertson; her granddaughter Danielle Courtney (Ryan) and grandson TJ Keller (Lindsey); great-granddaughters Aeva Carvouniaris, Ireland Courtney and Scarlett Courtney; and great-grandsons Colin Keller and Hamilton Niesen and her brother Steven McLemore. Leah is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Robertson Jr.; son Mark Robertson; and granddaughter McKenna Harlin. She is also survived by a large, extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Leah’s family asks that you join them in remembering Leah as someone who always put others ahead of herself and made everyone around her feel welcome and included. She was kind, funny, thoughtful and full of joy. Leah made every day and every person feel special. She was the person everyone in her family turned to for comfort and encouragement. We will love and miss her forever.
