Mary Enloe Moore, 91, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Granbury, Texas, passed away on Saturday afternoon, April 5, 2025, in her Granbury home.
Visitation for Mary will be held from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Wiley Funeral Chapel, 400 Highway 377 East, Granbury. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Granbury First United Methodist Church, 301 Loop 567, in Granbury.
Mary was born Feb. 1, 1934, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late George and Virginia Enloe. She married Richard Moore in 1953 and together had four children, Richard, Charlotte, John and Mary. Mary returned to school in her 40s, obtaining her master’s degree in special education. She was a special education teacher for 25 years. Mary was a wonderful mother who was always devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.
Mary is survived by her children, Richard and wife Laura Moore, Charlotte Moore, John and wife Kim Moore, and Mary Melinda and husband Richard Moore; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 2011; her brother, George; and her sister, Martha.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary’s memory may be made to Hood County Animal Control.
