Paula Gayle Fletcher

Posted

Paula Gayle Fletcher died peacefully in her sleep early Sunday morning May 26th 2019 at the age of 63.

Paula was a unique one of a kind, said it like she saw it, whether you asked for it or not, and all with the kindest giving heart a person could ever have! She gave to anyone that was in need, even if it meant she went without. There were often times she didn't have it to give, but she would find it! Especially when it came to children!

Paula was a lot of things to a lot of people, daughter (to Scott and Winnie Crabtree,) sister (to Marshall Nabors, Scott Crab-tree Jr.) granddaughter, aunt but the most cherished of all was mother to her beloved son Charlie Fletcher. He gave her the greatest joy. Since his passing in 2014, she became very active in "Suicide Prevention Awareness."She volunteered and created a team "Gamblers"and participated in the "Out of the Darkness Walk"in Waco.

In lieu of flowers please donate to "Suicide Prevention Awareness".

Paula is truly an irreplaceable soul. She will be missed by so many friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Scott and Winnie Crabtree, her son Charlie Fletcher, her sisters Dottie Lail, Joy West, Eugenia Miller, and her nephew Blake Nabors.

Survived in death by sister Mazie Coker, brothers Marshall Nabors and Scott Crabtree Jr. as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins We will be celebrating Paula's life on June 22nd ,1-4 PM inside the courtyard of the "Yellow Dog "located in Walnut Springs.
