PHOTO GALLERY: A happy Hood County Halloween

Posted

The Hood County Halloween calendar of events was overflowed with dozens of fun-filled family events.

Year, after year locals look forward to the day the Historic Granbury Merchant Association, hosts costumed trick-or-treaters. Kids in costumes of every shape and size turn out for an extra special Halloween trail around our historic Granbury square.

Paws Country’s Howl-O-Ween Festival was a fun, free for all event enjoyed by dogs and humans alike. Competition ran high in the thrilling Wiener dog races. There was plenty of other canine competition in the Holloween costume and pie eating contests.

YMCA Boo-Bash attendees dressed in their best Halloween attire for a parade around the YMCA grounds, they gathered inside for a costume contest. There was Trick or Treat throughout the Y, including an area that featured local vendors.
