Granbury High School cheer captains and cheerleaders recently stepped into leadership roles to show seventh- and eighth graders how to be a cheer leader. Learning the fight song, dances, cheers, chants, jumps, proper motions, motion placement, stunts, and stunt safety were just a few of the valuable lessons learned. GHS Cheer Coach Kathleen McLaurin says Cheer Camp helps the youngsters in other aspects of life — including the classroom.
