The Lake Granbury Master Gardeners Demo Garden was abuzz Saturday, Oct. 1, for the delightful and informative Romancing the Monarch event. The annual event is all about attracting and protecting Monarch butterflies and helping make Hood County the Monarch Capital of north Texas! To teach folks how to roll out the Welcome Mat for Monarchs, this year the Romancing the Monarch Event achieved just that with a wide variety of enjoyable and educational activities. A huge crowd came out to enjoy Demo Garden tours, monarch tagging, face painting, crafts, and so much more!
