Raymond Baker King Jr. passed away at the age of 79 at his home in Granbury, Texas, Nov. 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Ray was born Oct. 11, 1946, in Summit, New Jersey, and grew up in Denville, New Jersey.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Raymond Baker and Janet Ralph King; and brother, John King.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Deborah Marie King; his daughter, Audrey Hall and husband Teddy; his sons, Eric King and wife Rocio, and Bradley King and wife Michelle; and his grandchildren, Tatum, Ava, Sydney, Nolan, River and Clementine. He is also survived by his sister, Pamela McLenna.
Ray was vibrant and full of life; the kind of person who could brighten any room he entered. His quick wit and warm spirit brought joy to those around him. He was truly one of a kind, a memorable character whose light will be deeply missed.
