A 45-year-old Granbury man was arrested on May 27 by Hood County Sheriff’s Office deputies during a traffic stop and booked into the Hood County Jail on a second-degree felony drug charge, Lt. Johnny Rose stated in an email.

Methamphetamine was discovered during the traffic stop, which happened at about 1 a.m. in the 3400 block of Lipan Highway, Rose noted.

“During the stop, Tommy Douglas Carroll was found to be in possession of over 15 grams of meth,” Rose stated. “Carroll was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.”

Carroll’s bond was set at $10,000, according to Rose.
