Sheriff: Silver Alert issued for missing Granbury man

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 86-year-old Donald Earle Carver of Granbury is urged to contact the Hood County Sheriff’s Office by calling 817-579-3307, Lt. Johnny Rose stated in an email to the Hood County News. Carver was reported missing at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, when the emergency dispatch received a call from his residence in the 400 block of East Road, in Eastwood Village.

Deputies responded and were told that Carver was missing and was last seen on April 26, 2022, “around noon,” Rose noted. He later added that a Silver Alert has been issued for Carver, who is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

Carver was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

In an update issued by the Sheriff's Office Thursday afternoon, Rose noted that a camera at H-E-B captured the image of Carver walking behind the store (see second photo) at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26.
