Granbury Light Plant to celebrate the 100-year anniversary.

On Saturday, October 14, 2023, we plan to run 2 Fairbanks-Morris
engines at the Granbury Light Plant from 10 AM to 3:00 PM to celebrate
the 100-year anniversary of the plant.

Preserve Granbury will host the event and serve cupcakes to commemorate the occasion. These are the original engines installed at the Granbury Light Plant 100 years ago and
were in constant use until the early 1960’s. since then, a dedicated group
of individuals has maintained the engines and run them on a periodic basis.
