Teddie Ross Lusk, age 87, of Granbury, Texas, passed away peacefully May 10, 2026.
Ted was born an only child Sept. 16, 1938, in Granbury, to Samuel E. Lusk and Oleta Johnston Lusk. He was a devoted husband to Barbara Purselley Lusk. Together, they had one child, a daughter, Stacy Lusk Howard.
Ted had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. He had a lifelong passion for farming and spent many years working the land. He was also an avid automobile enthusiast. Cars were his greatest passion; he developed a special appreciation for classic cars, enjoying their craftsmanship, history, and timeless beauty.
Those who knew him will remember the joy he found in discussing cars, the history of Granbury, and the knowledge he had to offer for just about anything.
He is survived by two granddaughters, Toya Howard and Shay Howard, his beloved great-grandson Lincoln Howard and son-in-law Larry Howard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Purselley Lusk, and daughter Stacy Lusk Howard.
Teddie will be remembered for his service to his country, his love of farming and classic cars, and the special bond he shared with the ones he loved. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
