Texas A&M AgriLife to host hay and forage program in Cleburne

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Hood, Johnson, Bosque, and Somervell County will be hosting a Hay and Forage Program on Oct. 26, at the Johnson County Extension Office, 109 W. Chambers St. in Cleburne.

Registration and a meal will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the program lasting until 1:30 p.m. This program will cover sandbur and assorted weed control, grasshopper, and armyworm pest management.

The registration fee is $20 per person and can be paid at the door. A lunch meal will also be provided. Two TDA CEU hours will be provided for participants with an applicator license.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will seek to accommodate all persons with disabilities for these programs. Please call 817-556-6730 at least 72 hours before the program begins, so arrangements can be made.
