The Cloths Line Project, April is Sexual Abuse Prevention Month

Posted

On Monday, April 1st, The Clothesline Project was put up on Granbury Square with the help of Brad Eppler and his students from GISD, as well as many, many others. The project aims at supporting victims of sexual assault, which is particularly significant in April as it is recognized as both Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month. If you would like to show your support, please join CASA of Hood & Somervell County and Paluxy River Children's Advocacy Center every Tuesday in April by wearing a teal shirt to promote Sexual Assault Awareness, and every Friday in April by wearing a blue shirt to promote Child Abuse Prevention Month awareness. Additionally, later that morning, pinwheels were placed at the Mission Granbury Resource Center and New Beginnings Resale Shoppe.
