Three arrested in multiple burglary, credit card incidents

Two people — one from Granbury and one from Glen Rose — have been arrested and charged with felony charges in connection with credit cards stolen from Hood County businesses, according to Hood County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Johnny Rose.

In all, three suspects were apprehended in what Rose identified as a “group” connected with criminal offenses that included car burglaries and fraud.

Rose stated that Nycole Renae Johnson, a 39-year-old Granbury woman, was arrested on June 7 by Somervell County Sheriff’s Office deputies on the following warrants: four counts of credit card abuse (state jail felony; no bond); and two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle (Class A misdemeanor, no bond).

Two days later, on June 9, 19-year-old Glen Rose resident Dylan Jesse Cannon was arrested by Tarrant County law enforcement officers on Hood County Sheriff’s Office warrants, which Rose identified as four counts of credit card abuse (state jail felony, $5,000 bond on each count) and two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle (Class A misdemeanor, $2,500 bond on each count).

Rose also stated that a third person associated with the group, a 24-year-old Granbury man, was also booked into jail on two Hood County warrants for burglary of a motor vehicle (Class A misdemeanor, $2,500 bond on each count). That suspect was arrested by Granbury Police in the 2800 block of Highway 377 East on June 11, based on those warrants.
