Tim Justis, 65, of Granbury, Texas, passed away peacefully July 15, surrounded by his family. A celebration of his life was held Sunday, July 20, at 2 p.m. at Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Granbury.
Born Sept. 30, 1959, in Odessa, Tim graduated from Odessa Permian and Texas Tech University. He married his high school sweetheart, Kim, in 1980, and together they built a beautiful life in Stephenville. Tim worked as an engineer and manager in a wide range of industries, known for his calm leadership, humble spirit and unwavering integrity.
Tim was a master problem-solver and craftsman — able to fix anything and always ready to help. He led his family with steady faith, quiet strength and generous love. He is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Kim; daughters Jessica (Kevin) Campbell and Ashley (Jared) Hutter; grandchildren Austin (Jordan), Mackenzie, Brodie, Farrin, Blain, Amarylis, Bowdin, Moses, Lyric, and Bravery; great-granddaughter Chandler; and brothers Daniel (Janet) and Richard (Adele). He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Vicki.
Tim loved road trips, lake days and porch talks. Above all, he loved Jesus and lived to serve others. In his memory, the family invites you to donate to the Acton Volunteer Fire Department or honor him by helping someone in need.
