Mandatory evacuation for the city of Lipan

Mandatory evacuation for the city of Lipan is being issued. When deciding on direction of travel use safety precautions when deciding to go east or west of the fire. Four shelters are set up for anyone needing them:

1. First Christian Church, 2109 West U.S. Highway 377 by Tractor Supply in Granbury;

2. First United Methodist Church, 301 Loop 567 in Granbury;

3. YMCA, 1475 James Road in Granbury;

4. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1226 Ross Lane in Granbury.
