A 37-year-old Granbury woman is facing a second-degree felony methamphetamine charge after being arrested Nov. 22 by members of the Hood County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit conducting a drug investigation, according to Lt. Johnny Rose.

A traffic stop was made at about 1:30 p.m. near Action Highway’s intersection with Shady Grove Drive.

“During the stop Arlena Bryce Sherman was found to be in possession of 15 grams of meth,” Rose stated in an email. “Sherman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.”

Sherman’s bond was set at $20,000, Rose noted.
