Marcy Carter-Lovick, of Granbury, will serve as the State Regent of Texas

Marcy Carter-Lovick, of Granbury, will serve as the State Regent of Texas following elections at the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) organization’s 122nd State Conference held in Austin. She is a member of the Elizabeth Crockett Chapter, National Society Daughters DAR.

Lovick will lead the Texas Society, established in 1894, with 19,310 members in across state. Members annually provide millions of hours of volunteer service to local communities and participate in projects to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

She currently serves as state vice regent of Texas, and is a DAR Life Member and an Honorary Chapter Regent of the Elizabeth Crockett Chapter. She will be installed at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., during the National Society’s Continental Congress this summer.
