FORT WORTH--Granbury took a while to get off the bus and found itself behind early for the second week in a row as Brewer tagged the Pirates with a 56-35 District 5-5A loss Friday in Fort Worth.
The Pirate (3-3, 1-2) ran the ball well but had problems giving quarterback Austin Jinkerson time to throw the football. Brewer improved to 4-1, 3-0, leaving the Bears, Northwest and Azle as the district’s remaining unbeaten teams.
