Brawner Elementary students relocated due to gas leak in area

Students at Brawner Elementary in Granbury were relocated due to a gas leak in the area.

Atmos Energy infomed the campus of the gas leak near the campus resulting in students and staff sent to be sent over to Granbury High School. The students will be placed in the cafeteria and basektball arena.

"The health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority so we will keep you updated once we are able to transport everyone back to Brawner to resume the school day," Brawner Elementary Principal Sandy Ruiz said in an email sent out to parents. 

Students and staff will remain at GHS until this issue is resolved and given the all clear from Atmos Energy to return.
